The Pearl MS series microphones have been setting the standards for on-location stereo recordings for more than 30 years. The current range consists of the MS 8CL, with a cardioid mid channel, and the MSH 10, with a shotgun mid channel for a more focused sound. Both models offer outstanding audio quality in a lightweight, yet rugged design.

The MSH 10 has separate (i.e. non-matrixed) M and S channels, which gives the engineer more control over the sound and the possibility to decide the width of the stereo image in post-production. This also means that the MSH 10 can be used as a regular mono shotgun microphone.

The Pearl 1930 shockmount is included and can be mounted directly on-camera with a hot shoe adaptor (optional). Thanks to our collaboration with Rycote, we can offer a range of high-quality accessories for even the most demanding recording conditions.

Both the MS 8CL and the MSH 10 are finished in a durable black powder coat paint. An LED indicates when phantom power is on.
