Limited Warranty (2 Years)

Milab International AB warrants that this product is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use.

This limited warranty is provided free of charge and is in addition to, and does not affect, limit or exclude any mandatory statutory consumer rights under applicable law.

1. Warranty Period

This limited warranty applies for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase by the first end user.

2. Scope of Warranty

This warranty applies only to microphones branded Milab, Pearl or PML and supplied by Milab International AB or an authorized Milab dealer or distributor, in the manufacturer’s original packaging.

Any warranty claim must be accompanied by valid proof of purchase, such as a dated sales receipt or invoice.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law.

3. Warranty Coverage

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that occur during normal and intended use, provided the product has been used, installed and handled in accordance with Milab’s operating, handling and maintenance instructions.

If you are unsure how to correctly operate your product, please contact your retailer, authorized distributor or Milab International AB before connecting the product to any equipment.

4. Warranty Service

If, during the warranty period, a product is found to be defective due to faulty materials or workmanship, Milab International AB will, at its sole discretion:

  • repair the product, or

  • replace defective parts, or

  • replace the product with an equivalent or comparable model of equal value and performance.

This warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the defective product.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Milab International AB shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of income, loss of business or loss of profits.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

5. Exclusions

This warranty does not apply to defects or damage resulting from, including but not limited to:

  • Normal wear and tear or ageing of components

  • Failure to follow operating, maintenance or storage instructions

  • Improper, unintended or negligent use

  • Accidental damage

  • Modification, alteration or unauthorized repair

  • Use with incompatible, unsuitable or defective equipment

  • Electrical storms, power surges or environmental influences

  • Damage occurring during shipping or transport not arranged by Milab International AB

Accessories, consumables and cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality are not covered by this warranty.

6. Discontinued or Modified Products

Milab International AB reserves the right to modify or discontinue any product model without prior notice.

In the event of a warranty claim relating to a discontinued or significantly modified product, Milab International AB may, at its discretion, repair the product or replace it with a product of equivalent value and performance, subject to availability of parts.

7. Warranty Claims Procedure

Any suspected defect must be reported to the retailer, authorized distributor or Milab International AB without unreasonable delay after discovery.

All warranty service must be carried out by a service partner authorized by Milab International AB. Any unauthorized repair, modification or tampering may void this warranty to the extent permitted by law.

Prior authorization from Milab International AB may be required before returning any product for warrantyservice.

8. Shipping and Handling

Unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law, the customer may be responsible for shipping, handling, insurance, customs duties and related costs associated with returning the product for warranty service.

All returned products must be suitably packaged to prevent damage during transport.

9. Limitation of Liability

This limited warranty is the only commercial warranty provided by Milab International AB for the product.

All implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the warranty period stated above, except where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Nothing in this warranty shall exclude or limit any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This warranty shall be governed by the laws of Sweden.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this warranty shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.

If you are a consumer, this choice of law and jurisdiction shall not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by mandatory consumer protection laws in your country or region of residence.
