The VIP-60 is built for moments that matter. Nearly four decades after the VIP-50, this is the next evolution. Lower noise, greater precision, and a sound that feels natural from the first take.

It captures detail without harshness, depth without mud, and presence without hype. Vocals sit exactly where they should. Instruments keep their character. What you hear in the room is what you get in the recording.

Five polar patterns, carefully tuned filters, and pre-attenuation pads give you full control in any situation. From intimate vocals to loud sources, the VIP-60 adapts without compromise.

Hand-built in Sweden. Designed to be the centerpiece of your studio.

If you care about how your recordings actually feel, this is where you stop looking.

The descriptive word I keep flashing on is intimate — especially on vocals, where it sounds like there is nothing between the singer and the mic, or when in a good room, nothing around the singer and the mic. All this to say, the VIP-60 is a gorgeously silky smooth and present vocal mic.

Recording Magazine

“The VIP-60 excelled [on vocals]. It was clear and full-bodied – articulate but not harsh.
It certainly has a very clean top end presence and sounds wonderful soloed.”

Tape Op Magazine

It’s one of those mics that just seems to tune out the bad qualities of a source, without resorting to cheap tricks like exaggerating the top end.

Sound on Sound

The combination of onboard flexibility, professional sound quality, and its ability to handle heavy processing, all combine to make it one of the most versatile and useful mic releases in recent memory and a timely upgrade to a cult classic. Well worth the price of entry.
